About P1R Racing

By day, I have a family and a full-time job, but my passion has always been in the world of motorsport and gaming. This site is the home for that passion—a place for me to share my sim racing journey, connect with the community, and log my progress as I chase those final hundredths of a second.

How It All Started

For years, I was on the sidelines, telling my wife and family that I wanted to get into sim racing but feeling the barrier to entry was just too high. In 2020, the sim racing world exploded, and I knew I had to be a part of it.

But the content creation side? That started with a bet.

My kids, surrounded by powerful gaming PCs, told me that growing a following online was “too hard.” I couldn’t accept that. So, I made them a wager: I bet that even with no online presence, a family, and a full-time job, I could get to 10,000 followers on TikTok within one month.

They laughed hard.

I researched obsessively and pushed out content at an embarrassing rate. Some of it was good, some of it was awful, but it all counted. Within a month, I hit the target. That’s how P1R Racing was born.

The Mission

What started as a bet has evolved. I’m not focused on the numbers anymore; I’m focused on learning, sharing solutions, and connecting with people who love this hobby as much as I do.

This website is the next step. It’s a place to share my thoughts, support the leagues I race in, and document the journey—from turning off assists to taking on iRacing. I hope you’ll follow along.
