The Final Upgrade: A New PC for Max Graphics & Performance

My upgrade journey has brought me pretty much to today. But I still felt the assists were holding me back, and gaming on console was becoming frustrating. My current PC, with its Ryzen 3 3200G, 16GB of RAM, and a 1650 graphics card, just isn’t capable. It struggles to generate decent clips, and the fear of missing out was real, especially when I saw the adaptability of PC sim racing. And of course, there was iRacing.

I love iRacing, but my PC isn’t a fan. If I close every other application, I might get 30 FPS. The debate of ‘Do assists make you faster?’ isn’t even a question on iRacing—they cripple you. A change was needed.

Scan PC Build

So, I’ve decided I’m going for it. I’ve pulled the trigger and ordered a new 3XS system from Scan Computers. This is the real final boss. The new machine is built around a 7800X3D CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and an RTX 5070 graphics card. It’s time to ditch the assists for good.

PC Benchmark for new system

I hope with this new power I can create much better content, start streaming more on Twitch, and finally get the gameplay performance I’ve been craving. If it means a huge backward step in pace while I relearn, then so be it. It has to happen. It will be great to finally join the rest of my family and jump head-first into the world of PC gaming. This is the next chapter.
